Two fishermen, grandfather Ignatyich and grandson Lyokha, are fishing near the Big Chkalov Canal. A girl approaches the bridge behind them and suddenly she falls off the bridge. The grandfather and grandson manage to save her. Upon arrival at Ignatyich's house, she wakes up and cannot her name or where she comes from. Thanks to grandma Frosya, frame by frame, she recalls her difficult past.
