A woman sells tickets in an art-decó cinema, as voices from a ionate melodrama float through the foyer, disembodied. The proyection’s assistant, reflected and distorted in a mirror, becomes the focus of her romantic dreams. When the mirror shatters, the film moves to an inevitable tragic conclusion.
